RESTORATION PROJECTS
As well as operating the various restored vehicles, the group is
also active in restoration projects.
WOLVERHAMPTON
TROLLEYBUS 78
This Guy six wheel trolleybus dates from 1931 and spent its life working
in Wolverhampton. Although there are photographs of similar vehicles of the
group, this one seems to have fallen shy of the camera! It was located some
years ago, in a poor state in a field in Ireland. It was duly returned to the
Black Country Museum where it still awaits a start on rebuilding. There are
pending enquires on getting help with this project.
