From Easter to New Year’s Eve, we run a Weekend and Bank Holiday trolleybus service – the only double deck trolleybus route in the world!. Donations from passengers supply the majority of the funds for restoration work. Working days are mainly Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. All restoration, maintenance and operations are carried out by volunteers, with some parts and materials sourced from specialist suppliers. Some parts are made “In-house” We also own and run two “Cherrypicker” vehicles which we use to maintain the overhead equipment and street lighting. We also assist the museum staff with some projects in order to improve the museum or it’s facilities.

We are always ready to welcome any new members to the group. There is always a good supply of tea and the general atmosphere is very informal.
