Hello and welcome to the Home Page of the BCMTG.   We are a group of volunteers who work along side other groups at the Black Country Living Museum at Dudley in the West Midlands, ENGLAND.   We are involved in the restoration and running of a variety of historic vehicles, but mainly Trolley Buses and Trams.

At the museum site, we currently have the biggest trolleybus route in England, a 0.8 mile round trip which features overhead apparatus rescued largely from the long gone Wolverhampton and Walsall Corporation systems. It is the only trolleybus route in the U.K. and at the present time, is the only double deck trolley bus route in the world!!  On Sundays and Bank Holidays between Easter and Christmas, a working service is provided to the public on the site using our two resident buses (shown above) alongside frequent visiting vehicles.  This is the only regular route service for trolley buses in the U.K.
